Introduction Privacy Policy
The integrity of individuals is a core priority for Ausaffiliate. Ausaffiliate, advertisers, publishers and other customers (hereafter the “Client/Clients”) that contract Ausaffiliate for a Service which involves processing of personal data of Users (hereafter the “User/Users”), must be able to trust that data is processed by Ausaffiliate in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
This Privacy Policy was created in order for Clients and Users to better understand how information relating to them is processed by Ausaffiliate. The Privacy Policy is not exhaustive, but contains certain fundamental privacy principles applied by Ausaffiliate.
This Privacy Policy was last revised on November 19th, 2019. Ausaffiliate may at any time and without notice change it, e.g. to keep it compliant with applicable laws. You should therefore read this Privacy Policy each time you intend to provide Ausaffiliate with personal data.
Personal data
Any information related to a natural person or ‘Data Subject’, that can be used to directly or indirectly identify the person. It can be anything from a name, an email address, phone number, a computer IP address, etc.
Ausaffiliate’s role as a data controller and a data processor?
A controller is the entity that determines the purposes, conditions and means of the processing of personal data, while the processor is an entity which processes personal data on behalf of the controller. Ausaffiliate is both a data controller as a data processer. As a controller relies on its advertisers and publishers to get consent for Ausaffiliate to process such data as Ausaffiliate is not in direct contact with users.

When analyzing anything present in HTTP(S) headers for quality control purposes and tracking. HTTP headers is a standard web protocol sent by default between any browser request and any server on the Internet. HTTP(S) headers include IP addresses, User Agent, Operating System, Timestamp, Web browser, Carrier, Device Type, Device Brand, Device Model, Referrer and Requested page.

Optional value for traffic optimization: When publishers send us additional information in the Sub-ID’s
collection of personal data.
Personal data for which Ausaffiliate is controller will be provided by Clients to us e.g. in the following situations:
Clients profiles:
If you are a Client, you may be required to provide us with personal and corporate information, such as name, address, email address and other account information, in order to be able to access and use our services;
As part of our sales efforts, we may collect and store data through online forms for contact purposes;
If you are a prospect Client, you may provide us with personal data through this Site when applying to join our network;
You may provide us with personal data when you send us inquiries relating to our services or in relation to this Privacy Policy;

Use of personal data
Ausaffiliate is committed to protect any personal data you provide to us and to process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. All Data processed is necessary for the Service and is defined in the agreement.
Clients profiles:
Personal data provided to Ausaffiliate may be used for the following purposes:
Provide you requested products and services;
Manage Ausaffiliate’s agreed obligations and rights towards you;
Process payments; administration;
Internal analysis to improve or more effectively tailor Ausaffiliate’s Site, business or offerings generally;
Allow you access to agreed products and services;
Direct marketing;
Any other purpose you have consented to or which is allowed under applicable law.
Users:
Provide you requested products and services;
Quality control;
Traffic optimization;
Direct marketing;
Any other purpose you have consented to or which is allowed under applicable law.
Disclosure and transfer of personal data
Personal data may be transferred to other companies within Ausaffiliate. Ausaffiliate may as a consequence of service agreements with third parties, also transfer personal data to such third parties who process personal data on behalf of Ausaffiliate. Such service agreement shall contain obligations for third parties to process data only in accordance with Ausaffiliate’s instructions and to take appropriate measures to secure that the processing of the personal data is secure.
All Users data is stored in the European Union.
Some of clients data, personal data may be transferred to Ausaffiliate’s business partners within or outside the EU/EEA. Should any of the recipients reside in a country without adequate legal protection for personal data, Ausaffiliate will make reasonable efforts to make the recipient adopt the principles described in this Privacy Policy.
Consent
Where it is required by law or where Ausaffiliate otherwise deems it appropriate, Ausaffiliate will seek consent directly of or via its Clients from individuals before Ausaffiliate processes individuals personal data. Such consent may e.g. be obtained by asking you to accept processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy and/or other terms and conditions stated in connection with the collection, please do not provide personal data to Ausaffiliate. Ausaffiliate reserves the rights not to provide you certain products or services should you choose not to provide required personal data.
Withdrawal of consent
You are at all times entitled to withdraw your consent to process personal data that you have provided to Ausaffiliate. In such case Ausaffiliate will not process your personal data based on consent anymore and erase all personal data.
You are entitled to request that Ausaffiliate shall not process your personal data for direct marketing purposes any longer by writing an email to info (at) Ausaffiliate with subject line “withdrawal of consent” and with your contact details (first name, last name, company name, email address, etc.) clearly listed in the email.
Right to information and rectification of personal data
Ausaffiliate will take reasonable measures to rectify, block or erase personal data that it is shown incorrect without undue delay. You should contact ‘publishers@ausaffiliate.com’ if you would like us to correct personal data that we hold on you and which you consider incorrect.
You may request a copy of the personal data that Ausaffiliate holds about you. You are entitled to such information free of charge upon simple request. This information will include information regarding what personal data Ausaffiliate processes about you, where such information has been collected, for which purpose the information is being processed, and to whom, or to which categories of persons, the information is being disclosed.
Security
Ausaffiliate is dedicated to maintain the security of personal data and preventing unauthorized access through the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures, as far as is reasonably possible. Such security measures also include that personal data may be accessed only by a limited number of persons within Ausaffiliate.
Our employees are made aware of and must comply with Ausaffiliate’s security standards. When we occasionally use third-party contractors to perform tasks that might otherwise be performed by our employees, these contractors are contractually bound to adhere to this Privacy Policy and they are subject to similar restrictions as our employees.
